In Summer Swimming - Anna Savvi

“This is a painting from a series of my summer still lifes and landscapes 2020. It was painted in the summer, during the longest daylight hours, when many flowers bloom outside, fruits ripen, and bees buzz from morning till night,” says the artist, Anna Savvi. “At this time of the year, I always spend whole days outside, inspired by what surrounded me and plunging into summer swim, which is always bright for events and new achievements. A cup filled with cherries in this picture acts as a symbol of gathering and memory of beautiful summer days.”
