Description About Artist

Barabashova Market in Kharkiv, Ukraine smoulders after being shelled by Russian forces. Barabashova is Europe’s largest open-air marketplace.

Collin Mayfield is a journalist and documentary photographer based in southern United States. His work covers political extremism, conflict, labour and social movements. Collin has covered the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests and subsequent electoral protests, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the unrecognised state of Transnistria, the Puerto Rican energy crisis, 3D printed ‘ghost guns’ and the illicit arms trade, and more. Although he covers international stories, much of his work focuses on underreported issues in his home of the South.
